      ThePlatycerium bifurcatum belongs to the polypodiaceae family of spotted ferns. It is native to the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia and Australia. There it can be found in the forks of large trees. Of the 17 known species of antler fern, only Platycerium bifurcatum has found general distribution as a houseplant.n.

      The fern grows arching overhanging and is therefore ideally suited as a hanging plant. It is one of the epiphytes, which are also known as epiphytes; these are not rooted in the ground, but in other plants. However, the antler farm only uses the trees as a habitat and is not harmful to them as it does not deprive them of any minerals.
